Research project.
Hack Circus, investigates current technologies, touching upon themes of architecture, digital culture, socio-political engagement, and concerns over the climate emergency. This speculative project imagines a self-build, self-sufficient floating community of hacker makers, living off-grid and organically growing, pre-empting rises in sea level and extreme resource depletion. Nominated for the RIBA Silver Medal 2014. |
